Oddball_E8
well... if its so well known, then why cant i find a post about what the bug actually does? all i find are posts like "when will the well known wall bug be fixed" and "as we all know, the low walls are bugged" whats wrong with the gorram walls?
dynaman200
A low wall blocks LOS when it should not. Making LOS in most built up areas a bit of a mess

Hev
To be fair its not just a bit messed up, in one mission you cant spot a bmp just 5 meters behind the wall even from a slightly elevated position!
SlowMotion
What a surprise to a squad whose soldiers jump over this wall one by one. I think we are talking about same scenario. In my case the result was this:
Pvt. Ryan
Since they are all standing, I'd say it's just a flesh wound. Or... The marksman did it.
SlowMotion
Actually that picture was not taken the moment it happened. I played it turn based and saved the file. Then later continued it from this file and noticed that during turn planning phase the soldiers that had already died, now looked as if they were still alive - except the red base. Once the movie started they all fell down and were properly dead again. So there's a bug
Oddball_E8
i know that scenario... and didnt have problems spotting it before... so the bug is introduced with 1.05 then?
SlowMotion
I guess so. This LOS bug changes this scenario totally as the low wall has been used in quite a few places. I think scenario designer placed many units assuming LOS works, but now that it doesn't, there are small danger zones and safer zones between those. I must play this again once the bug has been fixed.
Taki
Yes i agree. LOS Wall Bug is a bit of a Problem cause most Designers built Missions without knowing about it. As it is right now you cant take Houses in good Positions and give Firesupport from there to the Rest of your Troops.
