Timskorn
Have enough MPP's? Units right next to a port? Port you're trying to amphib from isn't damaged?
ebitt
You also can't unload on a frozen or snow tile.
Rolend
Also you can't load the units under certain weather conditions. I assume you know that you have to declare war in order to cross borders.
TaoJah
Also, the ports can't be under 50%...

Timskorn
What are you doing specifically to try an amphib landing? Is the option greyed out whenever you right-click on the unit you want to transport?
jon_j_rambo
Here's a suggestion: Get a better handle than "Stragic Command"! "Opps, can't you say something tougher than that?" --- bum boxer speaking to Rocky as he was cleaning out the spit buckets.
Stragic Command
Yes the option is greyed out whenever I try to make a landing!
Retributar
Stragic Command!!! i once experienced that same problem!. First!...there are 2-Types of landing Craft!...the first is...regular 'Transports' and the second type is 'Amphibious Transports'. 'Amphibious Transport's ' will be able to off-load Troop's anywhere!,...and regular 'Transports' can only off-load in a Friendly Port!. That mean's that your 'Transport' need's to be in the Friendly Port itself before you can use the 'Unload' button!. Hope this help's!. ------------------------ So to get the Friendly Port...use your 'Amphibious Transports' to Offload the Required Troop's to make the assault to capture the city that has the Port!. Once the City is taken...then your regular/cheaper Transport's can go into the Harbour 1 by 1 and offload their Cargo!. When one offloads...you can move up to 1 movement square after De-barking!. Guest Mike
You have to have adequate supply levels to be transported or use amphibious transport - I forget what they are tho.
