william bowen Posted December 11, 2007 Share Posted December 11, 2007 As an allied player my american fighter planes are at upgrade 4 playing FOW I am getting clobbered by German fighters, I do not know what upgrade they are[germans] but is their experience the difference, can it be that decisive in battle? mock Posted December 11, 2007 Share Posted December 11, 2007 Very much so. I would recommend using Bombers in France and let the American pilots get experience as escorts. Go figure. Do you mean to say that when you reinforce from (say) strength 10 to 11 you are actually seeing a reduction in the unit's experience level? First noticed it when reinforcing a 5 ribbon Red Artillery unit and the 5th ribbon went 1/2 gray when I increased the stength to 11.
