markpoll
How about this? I was Russia and Germany invaded in 41, but a little late and after he'd had bad problems in France. After kicking him out of Russia in 3 turns, a fort I was building on the Baltic states border was no longer needed, so I operated the engineer to Leningrad. I noticed that the engineer had the "F" marker active and went to set mode to cancel the fort build order. The order was ticked but greyed out and could not be cancelled. Next turn a fort appeared and Leningrad DISAPPEARED PERMANENTLY. Talk about scorched earth.

markpoll
I raised it because it's funny given how important Leningrad was/is(I got a mental picture of Finns arriving, looking at maps and scratching heads), but I'm aware that Hubert has announced it is fixed in the patch. Cheese Panzer
That's nothing! Comrade Stalin could make entire countries dissappear with a stroke of his pen! A single city would be easy for him!
hellraiser
I can confirm that - happened to me once (opped engineers in Odessa, they completed the fort , runing the city this way) , i posted about this a long time ago - as I remember, Hubert said he would have a look into it for the upcoming patch. Exel
Is it just a graphical glitch or does the city disappear functionally as well? If the latter is the case, I'd be curious to know what happens if you make a capitol disappear...
hellraiser
it's not a graphical glitch - this one really makes ghost cities possible in sc2
