Lightning War Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 How does the difficulty level affect the game? All I can discern is that it says +50% or +100%. What does this mean? Also, I've now played a couple of games; one on beginner and the other on intermediate. I found them both pretty easy. What should I do for more of a challenge? I prefer playing as Axis. Armuss Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 You have SC2 or SC2:WaW? Good difficulty level in SC2 is Expert+1,5 in SC2:Waw AI is good oponent is Intermediate+1. Intermediate/Expert is "strategic bonus" to AI (more MPP), +0,5/1/1,5/2 is "tactical bonus" to AI (computer units is strong (bonus in start/game experience)). Timskorn Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 It'll give you a good kick with Expert +2. But, WaW on Expert will probably cream you the first run through. I've been pushed back all the way to the Urals as the Allies on Expert, and without any tactical bonuses, which never happened to me in SC2.
