The Dutch Army Posted April 29, 2004 Share Posted April 29, 2004 A stronger Poland Poland needs a stronger army In the game Poland have only a view army’s and a some corpse and planes bud thats it. Real Poland had some 1.000.000 soldiers (due to the incomplete mobilization, which started on August 31st and was to increase size of the armed forces to 1.350.000), some 900 tanks and 4300 artillery pieces along with some 435 airplanes. Only part of the Polish Navy under Admiral Swirski was present in the Baltic Sea as most of the fleet was ordered to leave for England. The main role of the remaining Polish Navy was to co-operate with the defenders of Gdynia, Oksywie, Westerplatte and Hel, as well as to protect shipping lanes to Sweden, Estonia and Finland. What I trying to say here is that Poland had a muss bigger Army. I was planning to get some pictures in this forum bud fore some reason that’s not possible. Any commence? Exel Posted April 29, 2004 Share Posted April 29, 2004 Most minors have ahistorically small armies in SC1, and Jugoslavia's situation is even worse compared to Poland. That is due to game balance reasons, since those countries need to be fast run-overs. As long as country-specific units aren't included, the situation can't change. They ran over everyone and they were being led by an idiot strategist. I'm sure someone will try hard to make a realistic official OOB mod. It was designed for convoy protection. A huge Coast Guard. It was not built for surface combat, so there really are no naval units in SC that should be built for the Canadian Navy.
