Mr.Dozer
I was wondering in in sc2 ( awsome also for sc1) to have special units. Like the germans getting SS. Commandos for Uk/USA. Parratroopers for all sides. Just wodering why they may have not been put in. What happened to the engineers to build forts Also i remember in clash of steel that the germans at a certain year cound not retreat without the possibility of losses. ( with a game you play as leader this may be a bad idea)
pzgndr
SC2 will have paratroops and engineers. SC2 will also allow you to customize individual units with tech upgrades, since research advances will no longer result in instant automatic upgrade of every unit on the map. Elite reinforements in SC2 will be tied to experience bars rather than tech level. HQ links can be manually set if desired to ensure specific units get maximum command bonus. So, this allows you to customize and nurture specific units to your heart's content. You can always rename them to reflect something special, but there won't be any "special" SS or commando unit types in the game.

rleete
Lars, you can use a Sharpie and color them in. Honest, you can.
pzgndr
No Sharpie needed. Lars, you do have MS Paint?? Then you can edit all the unit bitmaps.

Agent Smith
Kuniworth, you must be really bored waiting for SC2 to come out, because ALL your replies in recent times, have been little more than poorly veiled attempts to create an argument. It's tiresome!
Agent Smith
(Totally off topic, couldn't resist.) Hey Lars, Autocad! ha ha try REVIT or Archicad, get into the 21st Century. Vector linework is so 80's.
Lars
Please tell that to the man who writes the checks. Can't talk him in to springing $25,000 for ProE.
rleete
ProE is overpriced, a pain to use and fussy. All while requiring far more computer than is reasonable. Try Inventor (if you wanna stick with Autodesk) or, better yet, SolidWorks. But you're still "an arse".
Lars
Hell, somedays I seriously think about going back to pencil and vellum. Or maybe bumwad. Should be good for my arse.
rleete
Careful. You'll be labeled "antique". And me, for even knowing what you're talking about!
Agent Smith
Engineers= people that know everything; about very little topics. Architects= people that know very little about every topic.
Zalgiris 1410
Architects know very very little about their most relevent topic aesthetics, they have no taste whatso-bloody-ever.
