CMBB only worth 5 USD?

Recommended Posts

Just received CMBB in Jakarta, Indonesia. On pre order.

(for those of you in America, we are sort of a bit above Australia, both morally and on the map)

Anyway, the customs declaration says that CMBB was a gift and is worth 5 USD. While I agree CMBB is a gift to gamers, I certainly paid more than 5 USD...

This is the second or third thread I've seen about this, and maybe I'm paranoid, but is it such a good idea to make references to fraudulant customs declarations on an open forum? I'd hate to see anyone get in trouble.

And yes I'm from America and yes I know where Indonesia is, thank you.

Lucky you, Wisbech_lad. A friend of mine had a pair of glasses sent here (Jakarta) that she would pick up when she came to visit. UPS had to pay about US$20 in bribes to get it to clear, despite the fact that it said "no commercial value."

You must have had one of the (or the one) honest customs inspectors.

So, another CM player in Jakarta. And here I thought I was the only one.

Of course, I need a new computer before I get CMBB. Do you thing I can get Apple to put "gift" on a packing list? And yes, I've been to Ratu Plaza--more expensive than US prices.
