Ellros Posted December 29, 2002 Posted December 29, 2002 Cost the Allies too much to defeat you. You caused almost 3 times as many casaulties to them as they did to you, not to mention all the vehicles you destroyed.
RSColonel_131st Posted December 29, 2002 Posted December 29, 2002 True, a defeat can be a victory when it comes at a high price for the enemy.
SgtMuhammed Posted December 30, 2002 Posted December 30, 2002 Maybe there was no one for you to surrender to.
mdr220846 Posted December 30, 2002 Posted December 30, 2002 The odd thing is that the AAR shows 0 AXIS Attackers OK (alive) at the end of the battle, not 0 ALLIED Defenders OK. It's interesting you had the option of surrendering with 0 men. Did you have vehicles remaining? If so, does the game not count their crew members as OK? Still a novice, so that's why I'm asking.
markshot Posted December 30, 2002 Author Posted December 30, 2002 The situation was this: The game forced me to surrender. I did not voluntarily surrender; nor would I ever.
mdr220846 Posted December 30, 2002 Posted December 30, 2002 Aha, so the 0 OK was accurate. No one alive = no one to continue the fight.
Cogust Posted December 31, 2002 Posted December 31, 2002 He had 5 guys, but they surrendered and became POWs.
Brightblade Posted December 31, 2002 Posted December 31, 2002 If one side surrenders, the only men still "OK" are those who left the battlefield during the battle. Anyone else is captured, becomes POW and therefore is not "OK" anymore.
Terrapin Posted December 31, 2002 Posted December 31, 2002 Originally posted by Brightblade: Anyone else is captured, becomes POW and therefore is not "OK" anymore.Especially the Russians.
RSColonel_131st Posted January 1, 2003 Posted January 1, 2003 I can just picture Markshot running around the battlefield desperatly trying to find someone he can surrender to...
