MikeyD
Okay, everybody was disappointd when the Lend-Lease Lee didn't make it into CMBB and everyone was thrilled when they found it in the CMAK demo. Now that the novelty's worn off I wondering about people's opinion of the tank's playability. Do you love it? Hate it? Never purchase it? Always purchase it? I'm not looking for a strict historical critique here, I'm looking for how the thing does in-game. Of course historical and game opinions should overlap somewhat considering how accurate the game is. My opinion, I've been pleasantly surprised by the Lee. It's better able to take a hit than I ever would've expected and the hull mounted gun hasn't been as great a liability as I thought it would. Generally speaking, thumbs up.

Treeburst155
I like the Lee/Grant. The AI does not hesitate to use the large gun. German AT assets of the period have trouble penetrating the front armor, especially the turret. It has decent speed too. Gotta watch the flanks though. Treeburst155 out.
MikeyD
One problem I did have was while playing a QB recently (on an old CMBO demo map ) that hull gun occassionally went 'hull-down' on me. I don't think it lost me the tank, though. The Germans simply ran me out of AP.
Slappy
For its time, it's a fine AFV. I'd rather have a Sherman, but I'd rather have a Pershing too.
Pzman
I don't dislike the Lee/Grant. Although its not a Sherman, the Grant (and Lee's for that matter) stand up well against Pz III's and in some cases better than the early model Shermans.
Gadzilla
I am most impressed that it keeps functioning after multiple hull penetrations.
