markl
One feature I would like to see kept in all future releases of Combat Mission is the ability to switch back to the desk top. A feature most games do not allow. This makes it easy to do both work and play at the same time, very important for time poor players. And good for those people who seem to have it on their work computers as well I would think. Just a thought.
Sergei
Why wouldn't it be in? You could do it in CMBO too, except the key for it was Esc.
MikeyD
On the mac it's still the ESC key. Judging from the CMAK Beta, I believe CMBB players will feel completely at home. I can't recall any deleted functions (except, I believe, no more 'Human Wave' commands).
Le Tondu
On my PC it still is the 'Esc' key as well. Why in heaven should we have to hit two keys???
Hensworth
While we're on the subject. Is it technically impossible to minimize the game while it's processing a turn ? I like to play huge games against the AI which take a bit of doing for the old CPU. Would be nice if I could do something else while it's crunching the numbers.
Jack Carr
I could be wrong but I think this is more of a Windows operating system feature than a CM feature. Also, If this doesn't work in CMAK then anyone running an 8XAGP Nvidia video card with certain settings switched on and newer drivers is going to be hard-pressed to see 2D text.
markl
I realise it can be done in both games now. But a lot of games do not allow this at all. It is a windows feature, but it not always available. I just hope they keep it in the next game engine.
Esper
It's not a windows feature, it's done by the game companies in most cases to stop(or at least try to) cheating, and using 3rd party programs used for cheating.
