Kingfish
Caged Beast Following the annihilation of the advanced armored battlegroup of the British 7th armored, the Tigers of the 101st Schwere Panzer Abteilung, backed by a few Mark IVs and infantry of the Panzer Lehr, drove into Villers-Bocage. Waiting for them were the British infantry of the 1/7 Queens, armed with PIATs and sticky bombs, and backed up by the tanks of the 4th County of London Yeomanry (4 CYL). Small / 30 turns variable / 2700 points combined. The map is a CMAK conversion of Carlos "LOS" Lourenco's "Villers-Bocage" Op, with a few tweaks added in. Special thanks to LOS, John Salt and all who helped with testing. [ March 06, 2005, 05:55 AM: Message edited by: Kingfish ]
Kingfish
Worthington Force In the early morning hours of August 9th, 1944 a combined arms force under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel D.G. Worthington began their advance towards their objective - hill 195, the high ground overlooking the town of Pontigny. At 0650 hours they radioed Brigade headquarters that they had reached their objective. But they were wrong. Sometime during the night the column of tanks and halftracks had taken a wrong turn, and ended up on hill 140 - 6,500 northeast of their true objective. Worse, they had penetrated into the reserve positions of the I SS Pz Corp. Both elements of KG Wunsche and KG Waldmuller were in the area of hill 140, as were elements of the 101st Schwere SS-Panzer Abtielung. This is a CMAK conversion of Greg "Iron Cross" Leugner's CMBO scenario. Medium / 35 turns variable / 8000 points combined
GreenAsJade
Can you comment on whether these are for H2H or vs AI, and whether they are historical or balanced. Thanks! GaJ.
BulletRat
Ok cool, can we get a link or something to these scenarios? I checked the Proving Grounds but they don't seem to be there?

Thanks! GaJ. Both are best played H2H, with the second option being against the Axis AI. Both are historical. As for balance, well...tough to say. Both are slighly in favor of the axis, with worthington force more so. The more experienced player should take the allies.
