Shep
How about two SOTWs? One from Sicily/Italy, one from North Africa/Crete/East Africa? And we'll continue chronologically, each front having its own timeline. Feedback?
Elmar Bijlsma
Good idea. It means more scenarios to comment on. And the yanks get a chance to star in some scenarios. In the current form of SOTW that would have to wait until some time in the summer. Serves them right for showing up late for the war, though.
markl
The only problem may be burnout. If you try for too much the following may drop off in the long run, especially for people who do not have as much time. I think one every 2 to 3 weeks would be better for the long haul if you want to keep this going for 6 months to a year.
Moon
I agree with Markl and would suggest instead to simply NOT do it chronologically. Martin
Michael Emrys
Or do it chronologically (I kind of like that) but alternate between the two theaters. Michael
Michael Emrys
BTW, as long as we have the Free French in the game, how about a scenario or two set on Sardinia and Corsica too? Not a great deal of fighting went on there (the Germans were mainly concerned with pulling their forces out intact), but there might be a couple of interesting engagements. Elmar Bijlsma
How about chronological, but without regard for the year? So a january 3rd 1941 scenario followed by a january 20th 1945. That way each theater get's a visit on a regular basis.
Shep
Based on feedback so far, I think after Beda Fomm I'll do one from Italy, with US Forces involved.

Excellent idea! Now you're talking! Are any of the Sicily scenarios good? Michael
GreenAsJade
Burnout is a real issue. Also, one per week means that creation of nice AARs etc that we've seen in other places is less likely 'cause of the speed. How about SOTM instead? Do one from Italy and one from Africa, starting a new one (alternating) every two weeks. Just a suggestion. GaJ.
