The Indians gave the Pilgrims roasted turkey, pumpkin pie (the whipped cream came later), yams, succotash, lima beans, cranberry relish (in aluminum cans, of course. They were a crafty lot), hallucinogenic mushrooms and lava lamps. We in turn gave them typhus, small pox, rampant alcoholism, toilet paper treaties and the right to build casinos on their arid, barren lands.
