legend42
To abolish all other competetive ladders and have one master ladder run by bfc, make it a 1st class sight with a monthly membership fee so bfc can make more money to put into the next game, say 5$ a month to be a member, with monthly cash prises, the money would go towards a 1st class ladder, awards, tournaments, and someone will need to be paid to run it. Is this a bad idea? ps:nothing against great sites like Band Of Brothers and Rugged Defense

Herr Kruger
While it might sound nice, it's actually not. First of all, you'd be taking away people's right and will to play this game how they want to. What if I wanted to join a ladder with certain rules that another ladder doesn't use? Etc... I've already paid $80 + for this game, now you want me to pay $90 more (a year) to join a ladder... ? I don't think so.
Jussi Köhler
Kruger had some VERY good points. You cant cut down on the supply of different kinds off ladders. This is supposed to be fun, not too competitive. This is the opinion of a player who loses most of his battles...

Terrapin
I don't know why you'd want to abolish all other ladders. If you don't want to play, don't join. I think BFC should maybe consider an "official OEM" ladder that they may charge money for, and that might have more "cache" for some people. If EA can charge for something as lame as EQ, then BFC can definately charge a bit for a pro-run service.
