jbertles Posted December 5, 2003 Share Posted December 5, 2003 Now that we are playing around in the sandbox, it would be great to have a terrain mod that would make rocky ground somewhat more prominent from level 4 viewing at least. Right now I can't tell if those little dots are rocks or a left-over sneeze. And when your ACs go into the rocks, boy, what a speed difference! Never done a mod myself (although check out my RatPatrol CMAK scenario at the Depot), but I'm sure somebody would be willing to take up the issue. Arrgh! This should have been posted to the CMAK forum, not CMBB! Oh well... um, it's true for Russia too... yup. Tanks a Lot Posted December 7, 2003 Share Posted December 7, 2003 Rocky terrain is just very small rock doodads over regular open ground. You can't see them at higher viewpoints, and you can't make them bigger. You can make them brighter, but they still won't be visible from up high. So that forest edges wouldnt be like drawn with ruler and color variations would be more between green and brown. Lower surfaces tend to be brown because of dead leaves from pine trees.
