Sergei
Let me know if this works... it's from the second battle of an operation I played with GJK. 3,5 Mb animation
stikkypixie
It works but it is hard to distinguish detail. Nice idea though.
Sergei
Detail wasn't my concern. Maybe I could write an explanation of what's going on there... but I did it more just to see how doable it is. It's a royal PITA to align the camera so that it's roughly at the same spot and heading for each turn...
MikeyD
Big thumbs-up on the attempt. It ran on my mac, which is saying something.
Other Means
Coolio. Why not park a truck or something at the bottom of the map, select it & tab to lock it, then take your pic? This would put the map in the same position each time.
Sergei
Yes, that would be the best way, although in this case I used old PBEM files and am not sure if there was any suitable unit.
GJK
Hey, I didn't conscent to the release of that video! There's only one video that I'm authorizing the release of that has something to do with me, and it ain't about Combat Mission! On 2nd thought, you sure that was against me, I don't recognize the carnage....
Sergei
That's our battle #2. Battle #3 was the one where you lost 20 T-34's. Transfer me $2000 by midnight or I'll upload that one too... and no cops!
