Pyewacket
May I use your maps for a campaign project? by the way, can't find the cmf maps!?
theike
Yeah, sure u can. Its all free for use, change or whatever. There are 2 more packs of my maps on cmmods database. im thinking of making one pack of all the maps i did for cmbb, over a 100, and with changes to the maps included over 200 i think...just to kind of finish that of for me. but, back to your question; just go ahead, u guys dont have to be so modest and ask everytime;) the zip is done in two folder/maps one for cme one for cmf, not? the cmf or say operation maps are in that cmf map. BCR is at http://home.swipnet.se/supersulo/biltong/ IIRC there aren't that many of your maps in the map pack. QBs on custom maps are better than on generated ones, so I usually grab maps where I get them. Yesterday I added some of your new maps to the Excel sheet from the map pack, including the usual specifics like size and terrain. Just to know which maps are available for given parameters. It would be great if somebody had a comparable directory to all of your maps! Vergeltungswaffe
theike has tons of great maps out there. But, I do have one suggestion. Unless you don't mind a totally unorganized QB maps folder, make sure and rename all his stuff with theike, or something in front of them. He has the most random naming conventions I've ever seen. So, if you're like me, you'll want them all together.
theike
LOL... but i keep my downloaded maps in the scenario folder, have some folders there for to play scenarios and for usable maps, then when i want to start a quickbattle i dont have to look through 100 maps but open those few ones i know to be good. What was that filing thing u mentioned? A way to put them under hight largeness time of year and such? How would that work, i might try it for my next upload...
Pyewacket
I might be wrong (or became stupid in the meantime) but wasn't there a direct link to the maps?! I had a look at the maps screenshots a few days before, but can't find them anymore to download them. At www.cmmods.com I don't find a single map but mods .... help.....
Sergei
In CMMODS select 'country' all, 'type' other, 'unit' maps.
theike
http://www.cmmods.com/web/CMMaps.nsf U must mean that good old mapssection of the cmmods database. Its still there but there is no direct link anymore from the main page. Dont think anybody ever goes there anymore, havent been any downloads. btw, im doing mappacks now instead of posting there because i couldnt upload cmf/operationmaps on the mapssection. So now there are just the packages on the general page. (but its all the same)

kingofthehill
Hi Theike, u use any tools for making map? thanks KotH
theike
No, no tools. The only tools i use are for the maps done after real places, like the last one of those; Warsaw. Then i use a map a picture whatever i can get my hands on. But most of the maps are just made up as i go along. No tools needed there. (and thats just why i make them: its like drawing to me...'sfun)
