Bogdan
Hi ! Is there a way to change the color of the shells (fired by tanks and guns) in CMBB ? In CMBO, there are yellow-orange and then well visible. On the contrary, in CMBB, shells are black. I sure agree that this color is more realistic, but (like tracers), orange increase visibility and then, gameplay. Does anyone know the BMP number, or a mod ? Thanks and Happy New Year !

Ellros
IIRC, shells themselves are hardcoded, but CMBB allows the colors of tracers to be modded, unlike CMBO where both were hardcoded. more info: Tracer post A search under Tracer Mod will bring up several more threads about it. junk2drive
2003 thread bumped for someone who asked me. I've been playing CMBO lately and like the slo-mo yellow tracers.

MikeyD
If you go through the entire bmp folder (all 5000-ish, and I have) you hit a small patch of mystery bmps. Just little 16x16 pixel color squares. I don't know what they color or if they color anything (they might just be old CMBO holdovers). But they DON'T color the shells, unfortunately. So no luck for you in the bmp folder. I rather liked the yelllow flying shells in CMBO, myself.
junk2drive
One time only in CMAK I had a barbed wire blue base with the figure 8 on it. Those mystery bmps are not in the CMAK bmp folder. I think these hide in the same place as flamethrower packs, zooks, and fausts colours.
