MPK
Here, Herr Wittmann: http://www.cmmods.com/ great site, full of goodies... play around with the search tool, you will definitely find 2-3 sound mods... Warning: this site can eat your brain (in a good way, natch)... I spent 3 weeks 'winterizing' my forces...
michael_wittman44
Thanking you MPK! Do winter cammo mods make it easier to hide in snow and vice versa for normal cammo??
Philippe
Mods only change what you see, not what happens in the game. Having said that, if you put really good camo on your units, play at a realistic size setting, and don't turn on the bases, you'll probably lose them.
Pzman
They only affect what you see, and have no affect what so ever on game play.
Philippe
Hmm...Let's see now... They have lots of affect but no effect ?
MPK
They look neat... they do nothing.
junk2drive
Philippe, as one who has checked Merriam-Webster dot com for effect and affect many times, I would say that they are interchangable. IIRC affect is considered old English and since Pzman is in BC that version may be taught in school. English maks mi krazy two. Sew their.
Philippe
I wouldn't really know about this kind of thing 'cause I'm only a dumb fureigner. I thought that affect and effect worked the same as affected and effected (e.g. "Lots of the people on the Forum are affected, but the smart ones aren't effected by this".) But hey, I'm so old-fashioned that I think that wench is a term of endearment used for flirting with the opposite sex in taverns.
