Canon
Hi all In an attempt to reduce the number of threads I post about mod releases, I've started this one thread into which I'll post all announcements. I've just uploaded two new mods at www.cmmods.com Sadly, real life is about to get in the way, and I've got to work on a Uni project for a week or so, so no new mods for a little while. But once I've finished, I'll be able to make even more mods! Enjoy Joe
Gordon
Canon, Love the whitewash effect, but personally, I'd prefer if you could come up with something different for the Soviets so that there's more distinction between Axis and Allied vehicles. Phantom Captain
Hey Canon, Posted this in another thread but didn't think you saw it as the disappear so fast these days. Really like them! Decided to go with all your whitewash for my early Germans. The effect is really nice in the game. Thought they might be too bright or sharp at first but after installing the effect is subtle enough! Keep up the good work! Actually as an aside, I won't use the same whitewash for Soviet vehicles. Just looks too much like the Germans in my opinion. I would rather have two completely different looks. Thanks for your time and effort!! P.S. I personally am not into the aerial recognition flags at all, but that's just me. The victory flags are enough swastikas for me! Just MHO.
Agua
Ya, I'm in the same boat here Canon. I'm going to use all your whitewashes for my Germans (that is, if you continue to make them *hint* , but the Soviet armour looks too similar.

Canon
Hmm..a different whitewash style? How about this then? I've only done the turret, and very quickly, just to show a possible stlye. It's sort of whitewashed, but worn at the edges. Any better? Joe
-E
It's not showing here... but I would have to agree that the Russki's need a different style/flare/method. I still need the late/yellow German tanks that weren't included in Gordon's white wash zips. *grin*
Canon
Ok..in case the picture isn't showing, go here http://uk.photos.yahoo.com/canonuk2000 The pic is in a folder called Whitewash. BTW, does anyone know of a free web hosting site, that allows hotlinking? I guess that Yahoo doesn't Joe EDIT: Also, has anyone got any photos of whitewash Soviet armour, especially with slogans etc. I'd appreciate if you could email them to me at the address in my profile. Thanks [ January 04, 2003, 02:38 PM: Message edited by: Canon ]
Rob Murray
Canon I got your late tiger whitewash ( Jorge MC's original ) mod. Excellent work. Any chance you'll do a generic ( no markings ) late tiger - when you have the time?

I'll move onto late German armour once I've finished the panzergrau series, but now and then, when I fancy a change, I'll do some non-winter schemes, as well as Soviet and late German winter. I'll keep the generic late Tiger in mind next time I do a non-panzergrau mod Joe
Canon
How's this? It's a historical whitewash scheme, and is different to my German whitewash scheme. Feedback welcome Joe

Gordon
Canon, Yes, the KV-1S looks realistic and distinctive from your German style, so I would recommend you continue in that style for the Russians. JMO, of course. Gordon
Canon
Now I've done the KV-1S in the new style, I'm quite fond of it I certainly will do my other Russians in this style, keeping the other whitewash effect for Germans. I'm not sure whether I'll update the KV1 Mod 40 and BT-7 1935 in the new style or not. Guess it depends on demand.. Joe
Pud
You've got a winning style there.

Agua
Yup! Looks outstanding Canon. So, as long as you're dawdling with the Soviet stuff might as well convert the previous two efforts. PLEASE~~!! Seriously, looks fantastic.

Canon
Hi all Just posted a whitewashed PzIIIL (grey) with the markings of 3rd PzD at www.cmmods.com The screenshot isn't the best, but I just played a QB with a platoon of them and it fits really well with the snowy terrain. As usual, feedback welcomed and encouraged Enjoy Joe
