Sequoia
Was/is there a CMBO scenario about the German Airborne assault on Eben Emael May 1940?
Stoffel
Not that I know about. I have checked some sites about this fortress,I dont think the terrain and the way it was build is suited for the cm editor. I have several links to sites, mostin dutch. If anybody wants to do this I can help with translating if needed. Henk
Hans
I did a preliminary study and found that using the existing pillboxes in Cmak didn't provide a fun or even remotely accurate portrait of the battle. I did find out about the Belgian moveable anti-tank wall - which I found most amusing.

Stoffel
Hi Hans, I have been playing a bit with this idea and came up with a nice map which resembles the fort reasonably well.(editor limitations considered) battle plays real nice, used the brits bunkers though. And allthough its not the same calibre the battle plays well. I have tweeked the original OOB a bit with a few more German squads. Do you want to see it?

Hans
I'd like to see it yes! How do you get the interlocking MGs not to dominate and pin the attacking force? Send when you email is functioning again.

Stoffel
Hi Hans, I have add some woods between the bunkers (for gameplay sake I did not place them with overlooking LOS)and enlarged the german force somehow. Made the defenders green and conscript,it works quite well. Another thought I had was to place the defenders as reinforcements and have them arrive each turn to resemble confusion and chaos. Somehow some things arent doable with the cm engine. One thing you miss in each battle is the element of surprise.
