OT - New upcoming WWII shooter

Recommended Posts

Stumbled upon this at Gamespot. Very promising preview, if you like FPS's. Looks a bit like H&D meets QuakeIII engine. It probably won't be as accurate as we'd like it to be, but boy, those screenshots look mighty fine.

Take a look here for some screenies: http://www.zdnet.com/gamespot/filters/products/screenindex/0,11104,457649,00.html

Thanks for the link Jake!

Looks rather well. however, I tend to dislike modern warfare games. Don't know why really. Same with flight-sims: If it hasn't got a piston engine I don't play it. The early German and Japanese jetfighters excepted, for some reason...

Guess it's a historical thingy. smile.gif

Well, either way, they'll undoubtedly have to take them out of the game to sell it in some European countries. Definitely an exciting looking shooter, more so than the cartoony Return to Castle Wolfenstein, though that should be fun in its own way (and looks gorgeous, too): http://www.zdnet.com/gamespot/filters/products/0,11114,913853,00.html

Hehe, yeah Shadow we dun wanna offend nobody. There ain't no Septictank man no more, he's now a bipedal primate excretion extraction and compression specialist.

Screen shots look really impressive though. I ran Mortyr for a little while, it was pretty good. I tend to get to some puzzel I can't solve in those things though and lose interest.
