BlackVoid
I wonder if some kind of turn number randomizer will be included in CMBB or not. I think this is something that SHOULD be in the game. I have not seen any info about this yet. Will it be in? If not I am asking BTS to put it in. Cheers
Wreck
Hear hear. It would be nice if they programmed it so that the more flags were in contention (neutral due to forces from both sides in range), the less likely it would be that the game end. BlackVoid
Nice idea Wreck. The morale of the forces could also be taken into account. EG: If the morale of both sides is still above X% an Y number of turns are added to the game. In this case Y could be a random number in a given range. But I would be happy with a simple randomizer like: 30+-5 turns. The latter option is very easy to implement IMHO. Please post if you agree that this should be included! Vanir Ausf B
Random turns #s are in CM2.
Frenchy
If I am not mistaken, there is to be a random end turn. As an example, if you have 30 turn QB, it could end at turn 25 to turn 35. Don't quote me on the spread but the idea is the same. I think this was mentioned earlier in the year.
Madmatt
It is a selectable option called Variable End and what it does is randomly EXTEND the battle, it will not end the game earlier than what you selected as the max turns. The Variable End option is also smart enough to continue play if it detects enough flag contention. This continuation doesn't go on forever obviously, but it will give you a few extra turns while you fight for control of the flags. BlackVoid
I am happy now. Thanks for the info. Now I just have to sleep through the next few months somehow, so I can wake up with CMBB in my hand.
