Username Posted May 10, 2000 Share Posted May 10, 2000 I think Steve owes the whole simean community an apology for comparing BTS customers behaviour to monkeys. Monkeys are smart inquisitive creatures who have successfully extended their habitat reach to most parts of the world. BTS's customers are lucky if they get a basement apartment in their parents house. Monkeys are very useful for the human race. they help drooling quadraplegics eat and allow us to make them chain smoke while we pour liquid soap into their eyes. BTS customers hardly ever pour any kind of soap on themselves period, and basically drool whether eating or if they are watching TV. As a professional Space Monkey I demand an apology. (A quadrapallegic that has movement) I can walk with a walker and quad-cane. My left hand doesn't work worth a damn. Because my level of break was at the hand level, one down and my hands would have been fine. But I can still type with it, using the old hunt and poke method because I used to be able to type and have good keyboard skills. You will be seeing more and more of spinal injury patients recovering more than they used to because of new medical advances. If they inject the patient with a steroid within one hour of injury, the injury will remain as minimal as possible. Really nothing to do with this thread, but I saw mention of drooling quadrapallegics and I had to say something. As far as the customer always being right that is only true to a certain extent. Last night how could they customer have been right? I don't understand your logic here, the customer was screwing it up plain and simple. I Think the only apology owed is by you, to Steve. They didnt prove me wrong on the 'delayed fuze' thing because I and others posted references that they were used on occasions to good effect but BTS threw the hands up and poo-poo-ed it. Some good came out of it. We all are aware of the process of change now: 1. Prove everything to everybody and supply us with the ability to do it. (you think I work for you?) 2. BTS is the way it is because of secret uberdocuments. They could show us but they would have to kill us. I would like to add that people that have to get down on thier knees and work on floors for a living dont have to pump themselves up by attacking me. Yeah Loosername has been a big pain in BTS's and sycophantic customers' butts, and I rarely ever agree with him and have been HORRIFIED when he has found my posts amusing (almost as horrified as when OB&G sided with me about smilies), but like I always say sometimes, "there are some who just don't get it." Obviously the sick-o-fants found no humor in The Evil Username's post because they EXPECTED to find no humor there. Once again failure to read and understand the written word has plagued the board. The refreshing absence of smilies in Lewis' post did not confuse those with brains not completely addled with endorphin rushes brought about from the pain of hitting the refresh key at a rate of fire comparable to the mg42. Sure, Lewis is not the funniest guy on the board, but I suspect it is because he does not put balogna in his shoes, not because of a character defect.
