hobo
You are stuck out in the open with rounds beginning to come in. You need to get to safety. Do you run or crawl? Cmdr Hobo
Airborne
If I'm caught when a spotting round comes in, I generally run or move out of the area. If a barrage is coming in thick, I generally hunker down and hide. I only rarely use the crawl option. ------------------ "If it bleeds..we can kill it." Jarmo
Depends on how far in the open I am. If it's close, I have 'em withdraw. If it's a longer way to safety, I usually tell 'em to hide, while trying to suppress the shooters with other units. If the enemy seems weak and is close enough, I might order the men to fire and charge.
Grisha
As soon as you realize you're in a barrage zone, get out ASAP, in other words run. The men you lose will generally be much less than if you hit the dirt, and try to ride it out.
PeterNZer
If i'm already moving, I keep moving. If i'm sitting there, i'm likely to stay there, especially if there's really nowhere safe to move too. I'm with Fionn on the grin and bear it thing. Often I will offer up a sacrificial platoon to be shelled by the enema. They are often still in an ok shape a few turns later and the enemy is out of ammo when the real attack comes, mwuahaha PeterNZ ------------------ "I can be quite pleasant, you know" - Andreas "WHERE'S THE MOAT?!" - Jon

Bruno Weiss
Oh man, I had one of them enema shells one time. When I had my colinpowelloscopy. Same thing Katie Kurric had. Course, I enjoyed watching her's much more than mine. ------------------ "Gentlemen, you may be sure that of the three courses open to the enemy, he will always choose the fourth." -Field Marshal Count Helmuth von Moltke, (1848-1916) [This message has been edited by Bruno Weiss (edited 12-07-2000).]
