I always am poking my nose in those files. I don't see any sound files in there at all. So, not sure how it "came back" for you. You're just lucky I guess! But if it was fixed and back on again in this patch I hope nothing else followed it becoming un-patched again Yikes! user1000 Posted January 9 Author Share Posted January 9 I think I know the problem, You may not be able to hear this, it is high hertz tone. Try This: Load UP CMFI select Battle select Lemon Hill (about 13th down) click fight click allies select section HQ before the game starts have them do a fire mission for 75mm howitzers in the far right hand NE corner of the map. You will hear the modern radio tone at the beginning of the artillery crews radio response back to HQ Some peoples hearing may not be able to pick up this tone(including patch authors) I have excellent hearing. Ultradave Posted February 6 Share Posted February 6 (edited) I'll have to try it later with good headphones on. Couldn't hear it on my laptop speakers (which are pretty good). Even turned up to the loudest volume all I hear is the squelch break of the radio handset at the end of each transmission.
