KungFuTreachery
I regularly play network games of Combat Mission via Hamachi. My friends and I have frequently noticed infantry weapons disappearing, seemingly at random, from a small fraction of units between turns. The weapons in question are usually light machine guns, rocket launchers or rifles. The weapon disappears from the unit's inventory, and the model also disappears, leaving the infantryman empty-handed or holding his sidearm. This typically affects individual weapon teams, or one or two members of a squad. This bug seems to happen during the first turn of the match, and only affects the player who is not hosting the game. I have experienced it in CMCW, CMBS, and CMSF2. I suspect it is a netcode issue. I realize most of the playerbase uses PBEM, but I hope it will be possible to resolve this bug so we can continue playing network games.
Redwolf
It would be great to polish TCP WEGO "a little bit" and fix this bug and add VCR controls/rewind.

My fist guess would be that something is funky with someone's installation. I see this with people who are missing a brz file and/or have a mod that isn't playing nice. Next time you see this compare the content of each other's Data folders. It wouldn't surprise me if someone was missing something....or had something extra in their folder.
pkanarki
This bug has been around for many many years, atleast since 2008. It is NOT related to brz files not being identical. This bug ALWAYS exclusively manifests itself on the client-side. Host is unaffected. Tcp/IP lan/internet game. Please can we finally have this fixed:
pkanarki
This is very easy to reproducere in any of the combat mission games: Just did quick test in red thunder: 2-player-tcp-lan-game: Host: buy anything Client buy: some infantry, buy some trucks and or halftrack. In setup place infantry inside truck. After first round, the client infantry loose weapons (see picture). It is wrecking the tcp playmode. Please fix

Painapple
I won't be buying another Battlefront product. That's for sure. Spent $160 bucks on CMFI on steam for myself and a friend of mine, only to find out TCP/IP suffers from game breaking bugs that haven't been addressed for nearly 2 decades.... It doesn't matter that Combat Mission is niche....PBEM being the only option for multiplayer is unacceptable in 2024. Least of all when Battlefront has the audacity to charge a premium price...
