millings832 Posted November 17, 2021 Share Posted November 17, 2021 No matter what I do every time I try to run CBMN I get 'Assertion Failed' I checked the help desk and made sure no programs were running in the background. Weird story with this one.....There was a guy and I that beat our heads against the wall for a long time with that message. By chance he noticed a sound suite program running in the background. He didn't even know the suite was on his computer, let alone that it was running. He turned it off and BOOM. the message went away. So far, we've only seen this would sound related programs running in the back. I've gathered a list of know program but there may be other not yet discovered programs. Here is the list of programs that we have seen cause it: Realtek HD Audio Manger Asus ROG Sonic Studio Nahimic Sonic Suite II RivaTuner AI Suite 3 If this guy hadn't stumbled on it we might still be trying to figure it out today. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I remembered that I had one of these tickets the other day. I just matched up the email addresses and it's the same guy. He's up and running.
