rocketman
I have only played one of those and that was just after release. I remember it being a long load but worked on worse specs than you have. Try again from a fresh PC start if not already and do not touch any keys or mouse buttons cuz that can sometimes cause CTD.
Sgt.Squarehead
Did you click on anything? As @rocketman says, the game will sometimes crash if you click when it's loading a big scenario or map. I'm running an I9-9990 with a 2080ti, still happens to me sometimes.
Erwin
Quote Do you have the latest version of the game? An older version may not run a newer scenario.
