Scorpion
Gunslinger (and everyone): Thank you, this is incredible, and I can't wait until it is available! Did you incorporate the MDMP and other mods into your full-BMP update? Or did you modify each all by yourself? Thank you again! -Scorp

Guest barrold713
Gunslinger that was very gracious and considering not only the speed in which you produced out your tour-de-force but the amount of detailed work involved you have earned a place amoung that list of talented people. The dedication and devotion to enhancing CM is really impressive. *****STANDING OVATION*******(insert wild and raucous crowd noise here) ------------------ "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb discussing what to have for lunch. Hemo2
I'm a little confused. Is the GRU1 just a compilation of all these other mods making it easy to have them all in one place or have you actually changed everything using these other mods as your starting point? Wolfe
Mods are at: [url removed] Very nice work, Gunslinger! I used many of the tweaked textures, but ended up not using a lot of the more prominent ones. The houses look better and blend more into the background. I also like the snow texture and certainly the trees and tree bases (though the snow tree base is too grey, IMO). The trees and their bases are overall less "busy" than they were and don't stick out as much (exactly what I was hoping for). Though I did go back to the greener velvet grass textures. Gunslinger's seemed to be too grey to me (as did the 'brush' texture). Marsh is good, though. I ended up not using any of the modded vehicles or uniforms. I guess I just like the brighter colors from the other mods. BTW, the stone bridge looked real good, but it's actually a different type of stone bridge depending on whether it's intact or destroyed. Also, the summer and winter stone walls are different. I went back to *IX*Angela Deth's winter stone wall. And her frozen water is bluer than the one in Gunslinger's mod, so I went back to that one too. Regardless of which mods I (or any one else) use I hope that mod makers know how much their work is appreciated by those of us who lack the talent and drive to do this sort of thing. Thanks very much! It is a pain, though, to try to figure out what BMP is what. Wolfe
BTW, I think for the snow textures, 1470~1489 is supposed to be the low res and 800~819 is supposed to be the high res. - Chris

GriffinCheng+
Gunslinger, I think you should remove "MOD NOW READY FOR DOWNLOAD" from the news page, it was a little misleading but well, it is minor. There are not the sole work of Myself, Bil Hardendberger OR Kwazydog. There are actually seven individuals on the team with two or three more that help us test. Please do not single any one of us out for credit as it very much a GROUP effort. Thanks! Madmatt ------------------ If it's in Combat Mission, it's on Combat Mission HQ!
