Gunslinger that was very gracious and considering not only the speed in which you produced out your tour-de-force but the amount of detailed work involved you have earned a place amoung that list of talented people. The dedication and devotion to enhancing CM is really impressive.

Very nice work, Gunslinger! I used many of the tweaked textures, but ended up not using a lot of the more prominent ones.

The houses look better and blend more into the background. I also like the snow texture and certainly the trees and tree bases (though the snow tree base is too grey, IMO). The trees and their bases are overall less "busy" than they were and don't stick out as much (exactly what I was hoping for). Though I did go back to the greener velvet grass textures. Gunslinger's seemed to be too grey to me (as did the 'brush' texture). Marsh is good, though.

I ended up not using any of the modded vehicles or uniforms. I guess I just like the brighter colors from the other mods.

BTW, the stone bridge looked real good, but it's actually a different type of stone bridge depending on whether it's intact or destroyed. Also, the summer and winter stone walls are different. I went back to *IX*Angela Deth's winter stone wall. And her frozen water is bluer than the one in Gunslinger's mod, so I went back to that one too.

Regardless of which mods I (or any one else) use I hope that mod makers know how much their work is appreciated by those of us who lack the talent and drive to do this sort of thing. Thanks very much!

It is a pain, though, to try to figure out what BMP is what. A beginning list of BMP mappings can be found here:

While I'm glad you like them I would appreciate it if in the future you would not announce something like that before I have.

I was still awaiting approval, that's why I haven't said to go grab them.

WARNING: If you already downloaded the files, you need to redownload them because several things were fixed.

Sorry Wolfe.

I'm uploading the new zips right now, so in about 10 minutes I'll post a new thread saying everythings ready.

Gunslinger, I think you should remove "MOD NOW READY FOR DOWNLOAD" from the news page, it was a little misleading but well, it is minor. Just tell us when it is ready. I know you are bz right now.

"+" is just the beginning. Expect to see "GriffinCheng76", "GriffinCheng(105)" or "GriffinChengA3E8" more should Forum problems occur again :(

Ah. Sorry about that. I removed the URL.

Incidentally, you can either prevent directories from being viewed by changing the setup on the server or add a blank 'index.html' file to the directory to keep people with prying eyes out.

I know for sure Kwazy worked on them, but maybe Matt did too.

The Mad Dog Mod Packs are a collabaration between MANY people. There are not the sole work of Myself, Bil Hardendberger OR Kwazydog.

There are actually seven individuals on the team with two or three more that help us test. Please do not single any one of us out for credit as it very much a GROUP effort.

Thanks!

Indeedy, what matt said smile.gif

Like I mentioned above, I only did the non winter tanks in the 2nd pack. In the first it was trees, tree bases and some vehicle if I recall wink.gif
