Oh, I'm too much of a lush to give up entirely; it just looks like this round was a case of bad timing. Wedsnesdays are out for me for the next ten weeks or so, but Mondays sound good. Once Marlow's on the mend we can give it another go.

Due to relative lack of interest and what looks like some impending weather, I think I'm gonna call "better luck next time" on this one.

A thread on homebrewing in the General Forum and a certain anticipatory dryness in my mouth indicate that those of us in the DC area might think about another beer night. How does next Monday (President's Day) sound to you all? Too short notice?

Very preliminary AAR - I've had a bit to drink tonight so will not be super-lucid...then again, tomorrow's Superbowl Sundhay, and when has lucidity been a big deal then? We had a decent turnout - me and I think five others? Once we figured out what kind of beer the Brickskeller actually had (I think they were out of everything besides Miller Lite and Tusker), we had a good time. Today's the day. I'll be going home and changing before hitting the bar, so I will be wearing jeans and a red sweater. I'm about 5'10", thin, very short brown hair (like a Marine, but with sideburns). If you can't find me, hollaring "Jon" loudly enough should get my attention.
