Major Tom
Hey, they had them in Wolfenstein 3D, so, why not in CM? Wolfenstein 3D was just as historically accurate.
Guest Mikeman
No, attack dogs can't be historically accurate because CC4 doesn't have them. Mikeman out.
Bullethead
Capt_Manieri said:
quote:
dog mines do sound pretty interesting

Simple thing. Ruskies put tilt-rod mines on backs of starving dogs trained to eat under AFVs. Idea was they'd blow up German tanks. However, in practice they didn't care who owned the AFV. Thus, they were phased out of the inventory fairly quickly. -Bullethead
Berlichtingen
quote:
However, in practice they didn't care who owned the AFV

Actually, they seemed to prefer the ones they were trained under ------------------ --- Dan Brown dbrown@owc.net
Guest Stabsfeldwebel
ah but the regular army was not the ones who used these "dog explosives" it was the partisians, and thus behind enemy lines no real threat to the russian army. Thing about it was that come winter of 43' you couldn't have found a dog alive behind german lines they were yum yum yummy
Hundminen
LOL You'd wanna make damn sure you didn't have any beef jerky in your mess kit, before sending the dogs out. Hundminen
