John Kettler
It's a truism that the rich are different from us. Consider this example, a clothes closet so incredible even the rich women of reality shows would cry for the want of it. No idea whose house that is, but Dallas Design Group created this beyond opulent marvel. As you can see, everything really IS bigger in Texas. John Kettler
Came across this on FB, and it was news to me, especially since it still continues. Save on divorce--sell your wife. If you're a really bad husband, she might volunteeer!https://allthatsinteresting.com/wife-selling?fbclid=IwAR2O37PdPA50kGUVVYFtCdUr2gb7SH6JjX3geGvQj9NlMvGmSbAhabB45LU Regards, John Kettler Edited January 9, 2020 by John Kettler
John Kettler
Imagine the "This is a SLIDE. Non-sliders will be removed immediately" signage went up immediately after this clip surfaced. Imagine how thrilled a major soda manufacturer was to see this. Regards, John Kettler
Erwin
I remember a few years ago driving outside Burbank Studios near the corner of Forest Lawn and Barham Blvd. where there was often an Indian chap selling flags from all nations. One day he had flying a Nazi flag with Swastika. That was the last time I saw him...

John Kettler
Returning to the Hitler ice cream cones, this was in India, and it rated a Daily Mail story.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3097640/The-Luft-wafer-Ice-cream-cone-named-Adolf-Hitler-sale-India-sparks-anger-Germany.html And that's not all. There's other Hitler themed merchandise, including a restaurant with a swastika on its electric sign. https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/582542/Adolf-Hitler-Ice-cream-cone-which-has-face-of-evil-dictator-goes-on-sale Regards, John Kettler

Erwin
There have been quite a few similar videos of amazing ball tricks by women. Entertaining and hypnotic to watch - kinda like the "X-Games" and acrobatic skiing/snowboarding. Maybe they should turn this into another Olympic sport.
John Kettler
Erwin, I believe that such videos make excellent teaching tools for STEM courses. They'd have to do a NUMBERS mini-series to cover all the math in that latest one I posted. And now to weird news! After I posted the above, I saw that this was deadly serious. Here's why. Source was Chicago Tribune, but it was having site access issues. "ok i know a lot of you are laughing about this in the tags and saying they deserved it because they’re furries, but what actually happened to cause this wasn’t funny at all somebody deliberately poisoned the air on the 9th floor of the hotel with chlorine gas at about 12:40 in the morning. thousands of people were evacuated from the hotel (not all of them were there for FurFest) and nineteen people wound up in the hospital as a result of the poisoning (source) basically this was an act of terrorism and it’s actually really ****ing terrible. nobody deserves this" Regards, John Kettler Edited January 22, 2020 by John Kettler

John Kettler
Erwin, Had several near misses involving a topical steroid barely detected in time to avoid putting it on my toothbrush. Working by feel alone can be disastrous. On a far cheerier note, here's a stellar building reimagining and repurposing project nearly 50 years in and still going strong.http://canyouactually.com/old-cement-factory/?fbclid=IwAR2WZvPF6YIp0LzFP40J3Xy1JxAvPjj9i1EGI5cwOM-xwDZruZnNNfyiK9w Regards, John Kettler Edited January 26, 2020 by John Kettler

John Kettler
Music has produced all sorts of unusual instruments down through the ages, but this one's a doozy.
