weapon2010
it is magically what ever round is needed. They do it for ease of game play. That way the AI or the humans do not need to decide what round to have in the breach.ok but lets say the ai in a tank sees infantry running, he is in the barrel, then spots a tank in the distance and decides to go for the tank, is the time to take the he out of the barrel simulated into the overall time to shoot ?thus increasing the time before firing.
weapon2010
Actually, from the two Screen shots it appears that the Tiger should have more of a problem spotting the M18, then the other way around.Joeand to add to the mystery, the Tiger was butoned
Bulletpoint
and to add to the mystery, the Tiger was butonedMaybe that's the key. When buttoned, the tank commander's point of view is lower, so he can see under the trees. The unbuttoned commander is too high and just sees branches.

A Canadian Cat
ok but lets say the ai in a tank sees infantry running, he is in the barrel, then spots a tank in the distance and decides to go for the tank, is the time to take the he out of the barrel simulated into the overall time to shoot ?thus increasing the time before firing.Plus removing the HE round was not SOP, firing it and reloading AP was. So, depending on where they were in the firing cycle they would either complete the shot on the infantry and then engage the tank. Or redirect to the tank and fire HE first and then reload AP.

weapon2010
yeah you need to have trees on, its a moot point..That makes zero sense, trees were turned off to illustrate the point in the video, not that I play with trees off in game and didn't understand what was going on
