BarbaricCo
I encountered this strange situation. And this can go on forever. T90 had already immobilised main 125mm gun. Why Bradley can’t fire AT TOW and can Infantry inside vehicles resolve this stalemate?
BTR
All TOW's aside of 2B have a minimal arming range of 65m and that M2A3 crew knows that well . Edited November 18, 2015 by BTR
LUCASWILLEN05
Similar to the situation I quoted a few weeks ago though on than occasion it was a BMP targeted by an M1A2. Evidence seems to indicate a bug as I suspected then. I would have expected that Bradley to be blown away by that T-90
Haiduk
In real more appropriate solution in this case for the tank is to ram light armored vis a vis and crash or turn over it... Or shot out with remote controlled HMG. Edited November 18, 2015 by Haiduk
mikeCK
Too close for a TOW shot. Missile would not have armed
John Kettler
Haiduk,That tank has no HMG. See for yourself.http://www.army-technology.com/projects/t-90ms-main-battle-tank/(Fair Use)The MBT is also armed with a 7.62mm 6P7K anti-aircraft machine gun on a remotely controlled weapon station mounted on top of the turret to destroy stationary and moving targets. It can carry 2,000 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition and 800 cartridges. Six smoke-grenade dischargers are also fitted on each side of the turret.Regards,John Kettler
BarbaricCo
Yeah! But what’s the answer for both parties in real world situation like this? When high tech goes down my bet is on sticky bombs
Nercon
Just a little bit of research on TOW will tell you that it has a 65m minimum fire range for its warhead to be armed. This is designed to be a safety to ensure danger close misfire(or emergency fire) wouldn't hurt the crew.
