Lee
For me, tcp/ip is a very desirable feature when you'd like to get an intense session of CM, without the need for tons of e-mailing. But I can live without it for a month, and BTS is one of those rare companies that I *know* will do what they say. Simply put, I have complete trust in Charles and Steve; their word is good with me. Stef
Personaly I don't need TCP/IP wth CM as I'm not going to stay wired for 10 hours on the phone and pay a huge bill ! PBEM with small files is perfect...and I like to wait for Mattias's monstruous shemes in PBEM games (even if he can't win )) Stephan

Herr Oberst
*overheard conversation* Steve: Well Charles, what should we do? Most folks on the board are saying ship it. Charles: Apart from a few neandertals like that Herr Oberst yahoo who still say wait, it would be really easy to finish it up and wreck everyone's holiday shopping plans. (evil laugh) And I've just upped the AI levels to "Diabolical" so that should kick some peoples butts pretty well. SHIP IT! SHIP IT AND LET THEM FLEE LIKE THE DOGS THEY ARE! (more evil laughs) [This message has been edited by Herr Oberst (edited 12-07-99).]
Fionn
Gees, that is EXACTLY how Charles talks in private.. Ps. How did you know he refers to you specifically as a "dog" Herr Oberst? ------------------ ___________ Fionn Kelly Manager of Historical Research, The Gamers Net - Gaming for Gamers

Guest Mikeman
Ship in now. Ship it now. It's combat time in the city. Burning halftracks, flaming hellcats, and a panicked GI. In the air there's the shrapnel of arty. What's TCP/IP/ICQ/LAN anyway? Ignorance is bliss. Mikeman out.
BDW
OOPS - didn't realize I wasn't supposed to vote here. seems the "ship its" are winning by a 94% margin anyway.... cool
Matt
Don't release it until it's ready. The game is better vs. humans therefore TCP/IP is critical. -Matt
