Spitzenhund
I have a suggestion to make navigating for information slightly easier. 1. Under the Maps and Mods subforum can we have one section for complete maps and mods and another section for incomplete maps and mods (so people can present what they have so far) 2. A Multiplayer subforum, so that it's easier to find matchups. 3. A Strategy and Tactics / AAR subforum. I find it a shame when AAR's or Strategy questions get buried by general user questions or statements.
agusto
During a recent poll most participants said they want a strategy and tactics subforum. http://community.battlefront.com/topic/117176-which-cmbs-sub-forums-do-you-want/?hl=poll Regarding the multiplayer forum, there is already an opponent finder forum: http://community.battlefront.com/forum/58-opponent-finder-forum/ Edited February 6, 2015 by agusto
Shorker
@Spitzenhund: For to find multiplayer/PBEM opponents I recommend to join a CM gamer community like "The Blitz Wargaming Club" or "The Few Good Men".
Baneman
... 1. Under the Maps and Mods subforum can we have one section for complete maps and mods and another section for incomplete maps and mods (so people can present what they have so far) I certainly agree that this would be good/useful, but there would need to be some mechanism to move threads from one to the other when the modder's work was done ( thinking about forum admin workload ). OTOH, it's unlikely to be a major overhead given the time required to make maps and mods ( although some modders are almost superhumanly fast )
A Canadian Cat - was IanL
More sub forums does not always mean better. Then you have people posting in the "wrong" forum and you have people not reading all the sub forums and missing relevant stuff etc.
mvp7
As IanL said, sub-forums usually lead to a ton of post in wrong sub-forum and to posts in less visited sub-forums being ignored. It would be nice however to have a sub-forum for bug reports (or tech support sub-forum's description to be changed to mention bug reports if that's where they are supposed to go). Also released mods and missions should have their own sub-forum for easy searching.
