If the sick calf is then run over by a semi, and the moan is produced by air being forced out as each set of wheels passes over the carcass, the timing of each set imposes a nice rhythm to the phenomenon. I counted and I've come up with at least fifty ways to leave him but I just can't bring myself to do it...
