Erwin
Any idea how often it was camo'd in RL? The only pics I have seen showed it plain colored.
Saturnin
I do not really know, I've seen a lot of times Panzerschrek camo on figurines ... but in RL... I can't say. A exemple
Quintus Sertorius
I've seen several pictures of museum 'schrecks with camo. They look very similar to the common three-color painted helmets.
Rokko
I would assume they'd come from the factories in only their base color, just like tanks. Tank units then recieved the tanks as well as brown and green paint (at least until late 1944) to paint their vehicles in camo patterns themselves. It seems unlikely that infantry units would also have access to camo paint, but I don't know for sure.
Saturnin
I find this (Photo take at Saint come du mont near Carenta) or that http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosnormandie/4069298802/ this photo was take in normandy So ...I will make a version without camo if the option works for more diversity

Certainly Panzer Grenadiers would have access to both the paint and sprayers, being as they had to paint their HT's and AT guns. Most likely the troops who rode in them got some leftover paint from the crews.
Quintus Sertorius
You can find examples easily enough on the net. When you see the pictures it's very obvious it's the same paint that was used on helmets and guns and whatnot.
Baneman
Nice pic, thanks Saturnin - would you believe, I have, until this moment, never seen a pic of the actual schreck projectile before.
Sergei
I too would figure they were field modified (for a reason, Panzerschreck is a big object and stands out very well in one tone) - here's photos of Finnish Panzerschrecks from July '44, one in original paint, the other appears to have been given a quick brushjob.
Saferight
The majority of them in photos appear to be left unpainted. But here is another captured example with some camo. Good work by the way Saturnin..
Sergei
Nice pic, thanks Saturnin - would you believe, I have, until this moment, never seen a pic of the actual schreck projectile before. Well ain't this your lucky day! Notice the tank destruction badges on their sleeves - one on the left has destroyed one and the other four tanks.
Quintus Sertorius
If I were out in the field with one of those giant yellow schlongs, I'd certainly try to find some green paint to splash on it! The next logical question is, are there any pictures of camo panzerfausts? I haven't seen that.
Sergei
I don't think it happened. Panzerschreck has that big ass blast shield that will stand out quite well in an ambush position, and the tube itself is much bigger as well. For a Panzerfaust the launch tube is re-usable but it's quite small, and who'd go through the trouble of painting the warheads?
Offshoot
Did those tank destroyer guys swap helmets?

Erwin
Ok, ok... The Finnish Laurel and Hardy... Oh wait, do the Finns even have a sense of humor? (When I visit family in Helsinki, Kuopio and Lahti, it's not apparent.)
Quintus Sertorius
Oh wait, do the Finns even have a sense of humor? As a nation they seem to have a obsession with Conan O'Brien.
