kohlenklau
I am doing an Aachen scenario. One of my German AI groups A2 is a Waffen-SS platoon that came in fine to map back edge as R2. They then get movement orders to within buildings on side A of a large street. Then they are supposed to max attack across the street into buildings on the other side, side B. Not under enemy fire, no enemy in LOS. One squad went over in hunt mode, one seemed to go in quick and one went like a snake in slow. Head to feet every guy all the way on the ground. Is this normal? I guess I expected to see some haul ass kick in the door firing. Not sure... I can experiment some more.... What are some tips to make this go better? Anyone have a good scenario with such a good AI counter-attack it might be worthy of analysis? Thanks
Pak40
You should read the manual about the Order Types on pgs 136-137. Max Attack is the opposite of Dash which is what you want.
MikeyD
I recall back in CMBB the Soviets were given their own special command "Human wave" where everyone gave a cheer, stood up and rushed forward en mass. Thier initil wave of morale would propel them further into the teeth of the enemy machineguns than a mere 'quick' order would have. No 'human wave' command in CMBN I'm afraid. All you can do is give a nice tight "Exit After/Exir Before" timeframe for your 'active' troops so everyone's compelled to make the move at the same time and get it accomplished in as short a time as possible. Leave the default 0:00 Exit After/Exit Before and individual units will be making the location change at their own leisure.

I loved the human wave!!
