MisterMark
Can anyone please tell me why the Stuarts button up when firing? I know they did this in CMx1 so I reckon it has some historical relation. However, in CMx2 they unbutton right after firing and during a succession of firing it seems rather comical watching the TC pop up and down... sort of like that game at the state fair where you try to hit the ground hogs on the head. -Mark
MikeyD
Its a two man turret and the commander's 'other job' is loader for the 37mm gun. One supposes they could've left the hatch open as the commander briefly disappears into the turret to load the gun. But you can imagine the resulting complaints about an unattended open roof hatch
Crender
It wasn't like this in version 1.01 so why add it in version 1.10? It isn't realistic (the commander wouldn't pop up to 'take a look' after every shot) and it it looks plain silly IMO.
Holman
... (the commander wouldn't pop up to 'take a look' after every shot) ... He would if were under orders to stay up except when loading. If you want him buttoned up, you have to give the order.
Broadsword56
All we need is a little crank on the side of the turret and a "Pop Goes The Weasel" sound mod...
womble
That 37mm gun makes a hell of a shriek when you fire it, Maybe the commander has to duck down inside and shut the hatch to avoid having his head caved in by the muzzle noise? <- Not a serious suggestion.
