CanuckGamer
I'm currently playing the Sticking It Out scenario as the Germans. Two of my panthers have not moved in 5 minutes even though I gave them movement orders every plot phase. They just sat in the position with their turrets moving from side to side. I finally issued both the order to reverse to see if that would get them moving. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks.
WinOrLose
Not this one but I do notice a few move orders being changed to quick by the AI.
Chainsaw
Not this one but I do notice a few move orders being changed to quick by the AI. that one is TacAI. if the unit comes under fire etc (just bypasing bullets not intended for them) makes them change command, they want to get out of the area faster then move would make them.
CanuckGamer
Well the reverse order didn't work either. Both tanks just sit there with their turrets traversing back and forth. Neither tank has a message indicating they are immobilized. The terrain is by a wooden fence on a road. Very strange.
General Lee Irked
That problem only happened to me with the first Mac patch. I have not had that problem in 1.10. Although I had one tank in one senario do that when I tried to squeeze by a road block. Nothing indicated to why it could not move either.
Agua
The first time I ever noticed this happening was on a single scenario last week. I've got no explanation for it. Checking the damage tab, tracks are fine, no imobilization, morale is fine. Also, the tank would not fire. I just blew it off as a one off thing.
Chainsaw
Btw, what terrain tiles are around the tanks? in a PBEM I managed to imobilize 1 cromwell and a few carriers because I put them on firm ground, but around me was swamp so they could never move out of the spot.
CanuckGamer
They are on a road. Tanks and half-tracks moved through that spot without any difficulty ahead of the two tanks. I am going to keep giving them orders to see what happens.
Agua
Odd. Ran into it the second time this evening. Was on a road as well. Going straight and crossed an intersection with another road. Another tank bypassed it. Any order I gave it, any speed, direction, immediately cancelled.
Pak40
Sounds like they are just flat out refusing your orders. I guess they don't like their commander.
