Broadsword56
The maps for the CW Scottish Corridor Campaign -- can anyone tell me step by step how you can open them in the CMBN editor and use/extract them for stand-alone maps and/or scenarios? When I open the "Campaigns" folder in the editor the file shows as empty. I seem to recall that originally, maps contained in BFC-supplied campaigns were not accessible at all on their own. But someone made a tool that lets you get at them (?) What is it and how does it work?
kipanderson
Hi, I would be keen to know this too... but I also recall it’s not possible to edit campaigns. Once compiled, that is it.... If there is a tool that would be great....! All the best, Kip.
Pete Wenman
I've not used it myself but I think this is what you are after http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=99092 P
mjkerner
What Pete said. It works like a charm, except that one user-made campaign doesn't open for me--Die Letzte Hoffnung. Neither the author nor the Scenario Organizer maker knew why that was.

Neither the author nor the Scenario Organizer maker knew why that was. Hi mjkerner, the latest version should work for "Die Letzte Hoffnung". It was a bug in my program (not handling names of campaigns/battles correctly). Also, version 0.22 (see my signature below) should work for "The Scottish Corridor", at least in the testing I did for myself. "Kampfgruppe Engel" exhibits one problem, which I have to investigate when I have the time. When i've found that error, I will probably release another update. Cheers, Mad Mike

mjkerner
Hi Mad Mike, Thanks for that information. I'll try it for Die Letzte Hoffnungl. I didn't have any noticeable trouble with Engel, btw. Also, are you the Mad Mike, my compadre in FGM's Overlord campaign?
Mad Mike
Hi Mad Mike, Thanks for that information. I'll try it for Die Letzte Hoffnungl. I didn't have any noticeable trouble with Engel, btw. I had a problem with it when it wouldn't extract battle #15 correctly. I will have a look again. Also, are you the Mad Mike, my compadre in FGM's Overlord campaign? Yes indeed, compadre. I think we are doing quite well with our Flak regiment commands, giving the Commonwealth troops a hard time coming ashore .
