abneo3sierra
Has anyone here heard of a BFC game that was heavily advertised not so long back, maybe around the same time as "CMSF" was coming out. It was regarding 1800s, Napoleonic era. I cannot for the life of me remember what the name was, but nothing in their store seems to match the game. Did this game end up being dropped? Thanks to any who may remember what I am talking about.

Pak_43
No worries. I patch it occasionally and roll it out, only to remember each time how eye wateringly bad the UI is, and I mean so soul crushingly bad that I weep tears of frustration each time. There's a gem of a game in there somewhere I feel, but by god it makes you work harder than any other I've known to see it's merits..
abneo3sierra
Ohhh..it ended up that bad ? The main thing I remembered about it was that it looked like it would be great... Some games I guess just try to keep adding so many things that they mess up what otherwise could have been a decent thing, trying to make it a world beater.
Pak_43
I think the game is great in doing what it set out to do. There's some random stuff goes on for who knows what reason, but given you are mimicking a 19th century battlefield commander that's fair enough But simply wading through the UI though is a lot of work.. Is it worth the creds to buy? I'm not too sure about that. Is it a difference experience compared to any other 19th century wargame out there? For sure...
Sixxkiller
I was looking forward to it until BFC wasnt the publisher anymore. I have no idea why it was dropped but I figured it wasnt good that they parted and then forgot about it to be honest. Looked very ambitious at the time.

Pak_43
"ISTR the developers blew the schedule deadline--big time." Developer, (singular) IIRC, him plus a guy he knew doing the art and that was it...
