UPDATE: Work continues on Dead Ground and Rye, with the current version integrating Pz.IIIs, making it closer to the original.. Great THANks to the playtesters. I've also been working on a sequel- Need Playtesters Dynamic large map- rolling hills, rural, tank-country, 2.5km x 3.5km - with manageable amount of forces. DM for the file. -

"With tanks though I always assume if they can see out, then the enemy can see backā¦" This seems to be the case, even at 3000m...I tried putting them on Hide and got the same result, spotted by moving infantry w/binos.

My bad. I was thinking of several instances of this situation... One is a T-60 behind hedge w/light forest ground - 8am clear - spotted by infantry at 2000m+ Second, a TD in trees w/light forest ground - 8am clear - spotted by infantry or tanks? at ~1200m+ I've been replaying this map over and over and they are spotted within first 3- 5 minutes. Not on hide but short covered arc. I'm at work so I can't post pics. Thanks for responding, George.

Seems like Armor in cover (unmoved, not firing) is spotted relatively easy even at long range, like 1500m +...So no bonus like for AT guns?

Scenario: Dead Ground and Rye Kursk-Inspired Fictional Battle, June 1944, Axis vs AI 10:00AM, 1 HR, 10 Min. Medium, Axis Attack, Open After a along absence diving back into the game and editor. Ok thanks, I didn't think about the C2. I'm referring to 5thCo which is cancelling and apparently aping 4thCo group orders.. -
Unit orders automatically cancelled by A.I. and units start moving apparently seeking better cover (from behind a ridge)..? The ambush 'circle' disappears... thanks
