its not just Italian vehicles, the Panzer IIIm/n does this too, happens with walls as well as buildings too

i don't see why not? a driver and a Gunner is all you need to have a "working" tank. that doesn't mean it'll be an effective tank though.

Sorry, I keep finding things. But the Wespe appears to be AWOL. (the on map version) I could have sworn it used to be in FI, and it appears in the manual, but its now gone.

Italian Flamethrowers will make it in! neat! will the Italians get any other love in Rome to Victory? or will we have to wait for a Unit pack for that

I think we'll need to wait for an Italian Unit pack before we see that, tons of stuff to give the Italians that FI doesn't have, like flame assault units, Paras, ground based AA and solothurn. and the M14 of course. but none of these where in Sicily in 43, so did not wiggle into the initial FI release, well maybe the flamethrowers and AA where there but CM at the time didn't support them.

although i despise the BAR i have to agree with those above, these BARS are probably being scavenged, in the same way that Thompson where scavenged more or less in CMBN.

yeah as cool as the flamethrowers are, they are only really useful against hardened fortifications, which CM has very little of. not that i'm complaining about that, i don't think that would make for interesting scenarios. however in FI 4.0 in QBs at least the skittish AI likes to flee into houses, so flamethrowers can be good for mopping up those guys. but its mop up work not assaulting.

Yup TOE has been completely reworked for FI from the looks of things. its mostly small changes here and there, OH and flamethrowers!

huh would ya look at that. never would have guessed. probably because the model wasn't updated to show the mortar in the HT like it is in Final Blitzkrieg. kinda irks me now that they are firing an invisible mortar, but eight tenths of a good thing is still a good thing =). maybe BF can update the model in Rome to Victory

4.0 did not bring in tank riders in Normandy either, the offical reason is adding the riders to the commonwealth vehicles wasn't done yet, maybe we'll see them in the next Italian module? not sure though, no one has said anything about it as far as i know. couple other upgrades would have been nice too, that didn't make it into the upgrade either, like mortar halftrack firing on map.

It should say v2.00 if your going for the full from scratch file. if you just want to patch, the upgrade 4 is the one you want

i think i might have found a small TOE bug? maybe? brit/can/Nz infantry companies snipers will be assigned a No.4 on typical and average equipment quality (ie default) but the rest of the company will be armed with No1mk3*s i dont know if this is correct, but it wasn't that way before.

the new armies appear to be already set up to be added to the game, if you go to the quick battle selector they are all there. and the hype is building! i wonder if we'll see features like tank riding and mortar half tracks working in the module? since the upgrade didn't add that

hmmm well i did a clean reinstall and the problem seems to have gone away, maybe i screwed something up during the patching process? i dunno. it guess its safe to ignore this post now. (sorry for jumping the gun))

Hooray for this being out, and poor Steve, this is a repeat of Christmas. I too am having the issue where none of my keys get a response, just a little white x in the blue box.

the gamey answer. Ignore them. they can't hurt you if there are no windows. and the AI wont make use of them due to how the AI works

Sorry to possibly create spam. but i have to ask about whats going on, Fortress Italy was my favorite title and I am concerned its stuck in Development hell now that Chris has taken his leave, if any help is needed I can try, even if all i can do is mediocre art.
