Just a little something to take the edge off.

I think a few screenshots would assuage the impatient masses. While I do wish CM games would come out earlier, I am also aware that making such high quality products takes time and there's tons of existing CM content to keep me busy until CMSF2.

Thirded for TOC. Most engaging and exciting scenario for CMBS. Lots of scrappy battles, which I think are often more fun than big armoured brawls.

Got it sorted. Great customer service!

So I did buy CMSF, but possibly under a different account as I can't find my download info. Is it possible to look up my purchases by mailing address or something along those lines.

Congrats! Well-played! Glad to see the Leopards still pack a punch.
Perhaps we'll get a third AAR now before the game launches? Maybe Red vs Red in an urban setting so it lasts more than 10 turns.

What about making the bridge into a road bridge?

Does CMSF have thermals? I also remember smoke from Soviet vehicles ending up very far in front of the vehicles.

Just a few minutes in, but this is one of the best single-player scenarios I've played for any CM game. Awesome work!

A nail bitter!

Jesus.....That's some high intensity combat right there!
Yep. It's a huge QB PBEM with Ukrainians vs Ukrainians. No Oplots or other fancy stuff. Bulats are quite a bit better than T-64BV's.

Bulat brawling.
Armoured graveyard.

I actually think that makes the scenario more interesting. One of the main disparities between NATO and OpFor nations is in optics and sensors. This battle does a good job of illustrating that. If anyone has ever read the book "Team Yankee," this battle reminds me a bit of the night attack the Soviets launch against the dug in Americans on the hill. The author describes US infantry firing using their night vision, and the Soviets firing at the muzzle flashes because they lack night vision. There are plenty of real world examples of course as well.
True, true. I meant more that it does not seem particularly realistic for you to win this battle against a human as the Syrians with no night vision. Give 'em hell though!

Wonderful news! Any screenshot teasers for the foaming masses?

This is a very tough battle. It doesn't really seem to make very much sense to have Syrians with no night vision attacking dug-in British troops. Certainly a challenge though.

From a quick battle of crummy Ukrainians vs. crummy Ukrainians. No Oplots, drones or APS here. Paying extra for Bulats seems to have been worth it. Mechwar '77! These forces are making me really look forward to Red on Red battles in CMSFII.
Smokey/fiery Bulats.
Opposing forces. I destroyed four T-64's and two BTR-70's for the loss of three Bulats. The next turn should be interesting.

Aesthetically I love the Leopard 1, and the C2 looks particularly badass.

There is actually a way to do that indirectly. If you want to increase the point allowance for the defender, just increase the size of the engagement at the beginning. Then you can use all those points or only some of them until you get the force size you want. And you can do the same with the attacker until you have the balance that you seek.
But I agree that it would be nice if you could simply set the point allowance directly as you pick forces.
Michael
But I want BIG battles!

I would really like to be able to adjust both forces in QB, not just the attacker.

That looks brutal.
British paratroopers at short range can put out incredible amounts of fire.

I also like to have units stop outside a building and target briefly into the building.
And lots of target light all the time.
