  1. According to Lostarmor talks, elements of 90th tank division participated in last days of Lysychansk offensive
  2. UKR police still a problem of Ukriane. Reform of police obviuously failed. Old corruption system, saved by Avakov and old Ministry of Internal Affairs officials, which avoid lustration or resumed their positions through corrupted courts showed own rotten fruits. In occupied towns of Luhansk oblast most of local police servicemen like and in 2014 betrayed Ukraine and brought the ouath to LPR. In theese days ceremonies pased in Svatove, Novoaydar, Troitske and other. Also to LPR poice joined many former polivemen, fired from police in 2014-2015 due to lustration or dismeiised by the own will, because didn't support "Maidan authorities". Though, most of new-employed since 2015 patrol and KORD policemen in eastern regions remained faithful to Ukrianinan oath and fought with Russians (like this was in Mariupol, though in neighbour Berdiank defected almost all police, including patrol). Most of traitors are detectives, investigators, district officers, clercks, police chiefs etc - most of them didn't change since 2014. Many of them still have either pro-Russian or "who cares which flag?" moods and this didn't concern SBU or poice inner security all theese years. But not only Donbas police showed own pro-Russian expectations. In first days of invasion many police chiefs of Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv oblasts either fled or claimed "neutrality" and adviced to citizens don't provoke Russians. Now they returned to own duties and claim they just "departed for orders receiving". But traitors must be on-alert... Several days ago in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson oblast defected 26-years old police officer, which betrayed Ukraine, provid active pro-Russian agitation and was appointed deputy chief of police was shot dead in own car by some of local resistance. Fast-paced carreer... but too short.
  3. Never use Trukha channel as a sourse of reliable information. This is channel of hype, tracks of owners of wich reportedly lead to Kharkiv administration. Before a war this channel has poorly hidden pro-Russian moods. Now it often shows footage of damage instantly after missile strikes, despaite MoD prohibit to do this, it also throw-in unreliable information. There are no any articles in FT that USA decided to give ATACMS. There was only opinion of two senators, that US shoul give this weapon to Ukraine. But Trukha gives this as acomplished fact. So, you can use this channel to watch some video, but almost never do not trust all what they write as resonant news
  4. Now I return to the episode with Russian tanks, stopped by mines. Here is "cutted scene" - the fifth Russian tank didn't blow up on the mine, this was very close artillery shell hit - the tank passed between disabled vehicles and drove further and shot with the gun. Then it stopped. Maybe shell fragments penetrated side hull and caused some damages, who knows. Theese "luckies" were from next exotic unit, moved to Ukraine - 18th machingun-artillery division from Far East, which defends Kurils islands. Captured documents showed m/u 71436 - this is 49th machingun-artillery regiment (Iturup Island) of this division. They tried to breakthroug to Bohorodychne village along Siverskyi Donets river bank, but got some mines and artillery fire. UKR 79th air-assault brigade reportedly defends the village. Machinegun-artillery regiment has two machinegun-artillery battalions, one mobile motor-rifle battalion on MT-LB, tank company of 9 tanks (T-72B in 2017), artillery battalion (18 2S5 or 6 2S5 and 12 2A36), AT-battery, SAM battalion (8 TOR-M2U), AA battalion (6 Strela-10, 6 Shilka, 27 MANPADs), MLRS battery (6 Grad) Here the full episode, were fifth tank survived after close hit (second video), but according to photos pbelow probably was destroyed later. Photos of battlefield (I don't post dead Russian tankers). I see 6 tanks Not only in Bohorodychne was hot today. At the morning Russian troops took some ground near Verkhniokamyanske, but after heavy artilelry strikes Russians reportedly suffered heavy losses and withdrew even from recently taken positions.
  5. Becausae of Youtube closed access to this video as to private (at least I see this black screen), I repeat this video, embedded in Twitter
  6. If Luhansk oblast and "4" this is 4th LPR motor-rifle brigade. They posted many drone view videos with own logo 4 on Z background.
  7. Kharkiv axis. Despite news from there tell about some sort of tactical clashes, indeed this potentially can be enough dangerous direction soon, by the opinion of UKR military expert Konstantin Mashovets, on the basis of whose articles I write theese reviews. After sudden offensive of UKR troops on N and NE of Kharkiv, which took by surprise LPR conscripts, when in some places UKR troops came on the state border line and became to threaten to Vovchansk, Russian command with some delay reacted on this situation and counter attacked, pushing our forces back from the border in Ternova area and recapturing villages Starytsia, Izbytske, Rubizhne, Zamulivka. Further Russian efforts to come to the Shestakove to cut the road Kharkiv - Staryi Saltiv were unsuccessfull as well as their advance attempts north from Kharkiv, so in last week we can see only tactical figting and artilelry strikes like on relatively stable section of front. But today happened alarm thing, which can be both just a probe and the sign of future big activization on the Kharkiv axis, including even new attempt of assault of this city. Today Russian troops in first time since the winter tried to atatck from Kozacha Lopan' (captured UKR border town) to the west in Zolochiv direction. According to FIRMS there were tracks of intesive fire between Sosnivka village and Kozacha Lopan' - Zolochiv road. According to our General Staff report enemy attack was repelled, but who knows what will happen next and whether the Russians will want to synchronize own offensive on Sloviansk with offensive on Kharkiv. So, what Russians have on this direction? From Kozacha Lopan' to Oskil river they have at least 8 BTGs from: - 200th MRB (probably two BTG) of 14th Army Corps of Northern Fleet - 18th MRD (also tank BTG of this division involved SE from Kharkiv ) and 244th artillery brigade of 11th Army Corps of Baltic Fleet - 138th MRB, 25th MRB of 6th CAA of Western military district - 27th MRB (has a compnay of T-90M) of 1st GTA of Western military district + also at least two battalions of LPR conscripts. In previous days also volunteer motor-rifle battalion from Northern Fleet sailors was formed as a part of 200th MRB and sent to Ukriane - and I suppose to Kharkiv. Today Russians moved here one more exotic unit - 80th MRB (arctic) in full composition also of 14th Army Corps of Nothern Fleet. This is "light" brigade, having only two motor-rifle battalions on MT-LBVMK, and articulated tracking carriers DT-10 and DT-30. Motor rifle battalions have only 82 mm mortars, also the brigade has only one artilelry unit - battalion of 2S1 SP-howitzers. 80th brigade deployed behind of units of 138th MRBm which fight on the line Ternova - Verkniy Saltiv But most bad omen is lurking beyond the border. South west from Belgorod Russians deployed 144th guard motor rifle divisiosn of 20th CAA, Western military district, which completed restoration of combat capabilities after losses in the spring battles. Some regiments of this division have fully deployed third battalions. This is 144th, 254th, 488th MRR, 59th tank regiment, 856th SP-artillery regiment. This grouping is almost comparable by own strenghth with Popasna group and there are some doubts that this fist deployed only for protection of Belgorod from "UKR nazi invasion"
  8. Abouit Zaporizhzhia axis, "blanc spot" of this war. As I told in previous post about Kherson oblast, Russians had a plans to develop own advance toward Zaporizhzhia from Vasylivka - Polohy line, but likely UKR Inhuleys crossing and preventive artillery strike on concentrated forced, ready to attack foiled Russian plans. So, since start of June Zaporizhzhia direction became minor in Russian priorities and also became a source of reinforcements for Kherson grouping. If in previous times Russians fiercely shelled and assaulted our positions on Orikhove - Huliaypole line - most useful place for attack on Zaporizhzhia, then now situation changed and UKR forces are very slowly but steady pushing Russians back. The war in this area also is going on like series of artillery duels and limited infantry probes "from this tree-plant to next tree-plant" if artillery strikes were successfull. Now Ukrainian troops are trying to approach to Vasylivka and Polohy, but Russians in the same way fiercly defending around Shcherbaky, Stepove and Nesterianka villages on Vasylivla direction and near Inzhenerne on Polohy direction. The main burden of warfare from Russian side here is borne units of 58th CAA, particulary 42nd GMRD and 19th MRD. Interesting, that 42nd division being dislocated in Chechnya and 19th in Northern Osetia, so there are many Caucasians serve there and population of occupied territories often thinks that this is "Kadyrov's troops", but this is not true. There is knowingly that 503rd GMRR of 19th MRD fights for Polohy and 83rd air-assault brigade fights in area of Shcherbaky - Stepove, but as I told yesterday BTG of this brigade removed to Kherson direction as well as BTG of 429th MRR of 42nd division from Tokmak town area. Also knowingly about 177th separate naval infantry regiment BTG(s?) of Caspian Sea flotilia and 22nd Spetsnaz brigade (Southern military district) involvement on Zaporizhzhia front. The length of southern front is too wide, Russians also need a forces to defend rear objects like Tokmak, Melitopol, Vasylivka, I don't tell now about eastern part of this front from Velyka Novosilka to Vuhledar, where Russians also have problems. And only relatively small number of Ukrainian troops there doesn't allow us to make decisive breakthroughs.
  9. 11th separate tank regiment belongs to 18th guard motor-rifle division, 11th Army Corps, Coastal troops of Baltic Fleet. Division was establishing during 2020 - 2021. Though, 11th tank regiment was formed as far at the end of 2018 and had T-72B Konchakov on the video has a chevron of 18th GMRD - an anchor with sabres
  10. 45th artillery brigade of Reserve Corps strikes on Russian vehicles around Ivanivka village (north of Kherson oblast), liberated sevaral days ago. Blue Sauron writing that is Zaporizhzhia oblast is not correct, in comments the correct geolocation is pointed
  11. @sburke @Kinophile Lt.colonel Roman Igolnilkov. Until 2021 served in Rosgvardia mixed aviation regiment of Southern District in duty of regiment commader deputy of supply. Dismissed in August 2021, but on 7th Feb 2022 was mobilized in again to RuAF. Probably also was on duty of some aviation unit commander deputy. Got lost on 3rd of July after HIMARS strike on Melitopol airbase Addition about the death of tank battalion commander lt.colonel Yegor Meleshenko. He was killed on 24th of June on Chuhuiv direction, Kharkiv oblast when Russian command post was hit by UKR artillery. PS. Thanks to @akd "targeting" we can find his unit - 11th separate tank regiment of 18th guard motor-rifle division, 11th Arme Corps, Coastal troops of Baltic Fleet. Dislocation - Gusev, Kaliningrad oblast.
  12. Todays Russian storages being hit Velykyi Burluk, Kharkiv oblast - reportedly large logistic center of Russian troops Donetsk. Oil storage Donetsk. Ammunition starage Makiivka (Khanzenkove railroad station area), ammunition storage and logistic center
  13. Many people in Ukraine ask the same. But looks like out General Staff has own plans about this bridge. But how they can prevent it demolishing form retreating Russians it's a question too...
  14. About actions on Dnieper left bank bridgehead (Kherson oblast) Maybe this is just my imagination, but Ukrainian crossing of Inhulets river at the end of May had an objectives not so the offensive on Kherson, but foiling of Russian plans of offensive on Zaporizhzhia. Before our General Staff reported about our troops crossed Inhulets, they claimed Russians were concentrating own forces in area Vasylivka - Polohy. Alsmost simultainously, like this became knowingly now, UKR artillery conducted mass preventive strike on this group (and maybe for this some part of artillery was distracted from Donbas to Zaporizhzhia axis or ammunitions were delivering first of all, causing lack of ammunitions in other places, I don't know) and UKR forces became to cross Inhulets. Thus, Russians, having lost some ground behind Inhulets were forced to gather in the haste reserves to throw Ukrainians down in the river. Ukrainain command then, began pressure on all frontline of Russian bridgehead on the left bank of Dnieper. But this wasn't something like big offensive. This was "random" activation of different sections of front, so Russians moved own "fireteams" in different places and couldn't concentrate them all against Inhulets group only. But Russian advantage in artillery and moving more reserves, for the month of heavy and bloody fights did own work - they could stop UKR advance behind Inhulets and take back most of UKR bridghead, so in present time UKR forces still control small part of bridgehead between Lozove (allegedly under UKR control) and Davydiv Brid (gray zone ot Russian control). Except bridgehead, UKR forces also conducted heavy and bloody fight, trying to liberate important Snihurivka town. In some days even were reports that UKR troops already in the town outskirts, but looks like Russians could repell theese atatcks, but the clashes are still ongoing. So, in present time Kherson direction has four local subdirections: - SE area aside of M14 road Mykolaiv - Kherson. UKR troops trying to push enemy forces from the heavy fortified Pravdyne area as well as from Kyselivka. - Snihurivka - Inhulets bridgehead and around - Northern Kherson oblast: Arkanhelske - Vysokopillia - Novovoznesenske. Both sides are conducting small tactical actions (from this tree plant to the next tree-plant) with varied success on background of artillery strikes. As I wrote in previous post now UKR command "activated" more the latter and achieved some success, liberating Potimkyne and Ivanivka on the flanks of Vysokopillia, so Russians are moving there new portion of reinforcements. Except BTGs of 34th MRB (mountain) and 11th air-assault brigade (main "fireteam" of Kherson oblast), now Russians are moving hastly on this diretion BTG of 83rd air-assault brigade from Zaporizhzhia direction and tired in heavy battles on Popasna - Bakhmut direction BTG of 106th VDV division. Other directions from Russian side defend grouping of 126th coastal defense brigade, 255 MRR of 20th MRD and 127th recon brigade. More deep lines probably secured by LDPR conscripts (at least they were in that place 1,5-2 months ago). Also Russians are moving now to M14 road area where UKR reportedly has same gains next reinforcements: BTG of 429th MRR of 19th MRD from Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia oblast and combined BTG from other uits of this division. Probably they will try to push UKR troops back and take Posad-Pokrovske village - the main stronghold of UKR presense in this area. Already now Russians with forces of 255th MRR elements are trying to attack in our right flank here in area Shmidtove - Liubomyrivka to come to the rear of our grouping, which try to advance along M14 road So, in this way Russians are waekening more and more own Zaporizhzhia grouping, their offensive on Zaporizhzhia was foiled and Ukrainain pressure there also is growing, but about this in next time. The map just for illustration, its too hard to depict small scale villages on Google map.
  15. Explosion of several arsenals in 2015-2018 significantly reduced the number of many 152 mm ammunition, especially for Giatsynt, partially for Msta, and heavy MLRS like Uragan and Smerch.
  16. I don't like Arestovich, but he told in last interview, we passed sharp shell famine in the end of May - beginnng of June, when our artillery shortened own fire missions to minimum. Arestovich said "10 days didn't shot at all", but this is just to dramatize. Though this is the case, when he doesn't tell fairy-tales. I read our soldiers or those, who have familiars in army and many of them asked "were the f..g hell artillery gone?" Especially bad situation was from Siverodonetsk to Popasna and near Avdiivka. The latter saved only that, Russian command threw on Popasna - Bakhmut - Lysychansk direction most of regular DPR troops and those who remained stopped own advance on Avdiivka. In June first 155 mm howitzers and ammunition have been coming to Ukraine and probably 152 mm shells for Soviet barrels from ex-Warsaw pact countries, so the work of artillery was gradually renewed
  17. Artillery of 28th mech.brigade destroyed position of Russian Uragan MLRS in 3 km north from Tomyna Balka village, Kherson oblast - 2 launchers and 2 loaders destroyed.
  18. Russian railway troops established railway pontoon crossing in Kupiansk area (Kharkiv oblast)
  19. Yes, today at least two were hit: Stakhanov (Kadiivka) again (but this one was not so large): Donetsk:
  20. Yes ) Or "...all will be Ukraine". The letters ЗСУ (AFU) stylized in the trident
  21. Since Feb 8th UKR troops have started defensicve operation covered as maneuvers. Units occupied own defensive areas according to the plan. And artillery, of course too. It's naturally that some BTGs and artillery battalions of arty brigades were in reserve. The sounds of cannonade in Hostomel I heard already 24th Feb at the evening and since 26th Feb Pions battery alredy fired from position not far from of my house.
  22. 93rd mech.brigade, I see, reduced enough the fleet of T-80BV of 4th GTD again in previous days Though, Russians continue to push - according to eveneing reports, they had some success near Mazanivka village on Izium direction.
