  1. you are the Boss of the terrains tiles, I am the responsible to put my tracks on ! together, on, we can than visit Falaise he give us already the way, to arrive it, "un petit spiritueux apres un bon geuleton a la française with or without mask"
  2. But I like very much these ones ! we dont see too much the difference of colour , but keep his own style !
  3. I prefer the second textures the 3 lasts pictures, perhaps because some effects, they are differents, but hey guys this is me only, like Erwin say don t... I hope when we will make the mod of rain we will not talking too much about the drops wet is wet !! Super your timemachine Steph a must to compare a good tool, for you and your research !
  4. Whooaaw I like very much your time machine !! The farmer, can sometimes talk about property, he has lost, or gained, for decades!
  5. A good brush Steph I like your job for me is already a nice difference !
  6. French 8 points, la France 8 points ! of 10 of course Very nice !
  7. I see one day we will be able to control the suspension of vehicles, and even their speed levels, and revise with Graviteam!
  8. Yes Stephane more mouth that's it, but not always compatible with some opinions, that's why we leave the mod on hold for a while to come back later with other more convincing arguments ! I told you @Lucky_Strike, @Falaise will explain about the real aspect of the road in Normandy he has also the advandtage to visit it and see some real older photography to compare,... and the "chery on the cake" this is his passion and almost proffession an allied for every situations ! JM
  9. This is the best way to give the best overview with a good resolution image I was not sure about the other plants but for the nettles yes I had recognized. Hey Lucky Yesterday it was wood to cut today bread to cut tomorrow the hunt after tomorrow fish ... We really see that you are very busy, take some time to recover my friend It wouldn't be surprising that this is the best way to compare vehicle sizes, and don t make mistakes, and I think in this way BFC are already very good also with the camos, I think frenchy56 was the only to discover some problems sizes and he was "repair it" JM
  10. We take good notes of yours comments and working on !
  11. Mark check please your box I send you a pm !
  12. As far as I'm concerned I will try with Lucky and maybe with some others, to doing something reasonable that can be applied in most of the CM series games, with a matrix that can be used on any surface of road and perhaps paths, and I think all the seasons and categories of weather, now, I move forward perhaps a little too quickly, but knowing Lucky and his temperament and resolution that we will give the maximum of ourselves to arrive at something pleasant and playable. JM
  13. Hey @slippy when I read yours comments, you don t seem to loose too much yours knowledges, about textures and more, I think you need only a little pat on the shoulder, and you createad us a total new CM environnement ! Just do it when you are in mood, listen your hands talking, and your brain imagine ! JM
  14. Thanks to all these detailled info,s I will make some tests myself, I remember vaguely that Kohlenklau, was telling me something similar about this, maske of layer, with black and white, pity that I didn t keep these preciouse infos he is also a master in this branch. I was only starting to working about Gimp and was making my stuffs exclusivly with paint net, untill that I starting to work with Gimp very very usefull and free but not so complete as a old good Photoshop of course. A propos broken glass I was trying to do something similar and integreated in the textures of Blender, for exemple the 3D models, the famous wrecks that I was started, appear correclty in Blender, but in the game any glass textures appea,r so my broken glass are all desappear and I don t know why... but Blender is another chapter ! I hope the new generation of games of CM will be more I will say "flexible" ! PS I took a view of your link about Photopea online, "similar" as PS very usefull, thank you I am working sometimes to discover this new !
  15. thank you Ben appreciated, and in fact I was checking all folders CMRT yesterday, and dont find any, so, i want to send you a message today to know where you put your treasure, but you avoid me to send you it, thanks again to share it, it is very welcome ! one is sometimes stopped to give an acceptable preview, to a file, only because its extension does not allow it, for example the bmp does not accept, or very badly the so-called transparent zones, or alpha channel, and more, they are very heavy. I wonder why then still use this filesystem, even now with all these, CM series updates. I hope CM3 could counter this "problem" ?
  16. yes in fact I think that I will leave you the direction of the manufacture of the tiles, but assist you if necessary, and created the textures for the tracks traces and wheels, and return to my previous project of the wrecks, I have a lot of vehicles to prepare allied axes, and some dead bodies (in mode of tests for the moment) quite independent of the objects used by BFC ... adieu hedgerows hell, bonjour terrains tiles hell ! no not actually, it's just a little joke that gave the impression that, a German speaking with a French accent, was saying about you! "Ah ah, I knew you were a big trickster, a trickster like a fox" (regarding to all the knowledge that you put into practice and shown us on the forum, with some substilites to hide some parts of the tiles to give a better appearance and much more...) yes they would be welcome, and I could like quote do some new tests that already brillant cher ami ! I thought so too, this section is very interesting and represents very well, the grove and the covered paths and escarps of Normandy terrains view, soon if I am not mistaken, we will have a statement from my friend, Stephane Falaise. it's good that everyone adds their convenience their critics, their wishes, and knowledge their personal talents, and only be made known in this way, we can create something concrete affordable and appreciated for the whole series of games of CM. for the moment the flame is largely attributed for this knowledge to Lucky Strike ! I am going to test it because it seems to be promising ! JM
  17. Very nice result nett difference and seem more natural !
  18. Absolutly the mill always needs to be powered ! yes the editor does not always give the right interpretation but your results are already more and very concluisive for me very clever I didnt think about this ! these are just the ones I was looking for I knew it had a much better texture than the one I was using but I couldn t find it just found it today from my forgot hd my idea was to replace it it is much more "speaking" and the textures are much sharper Ahhhh this Aris where are you ? this guy was also a master in CM. simply woaaww your find and tres prometeur, very promising ! Yes the idea also came to me but than I let it fall and do something else pity I could perhaps have a better result now ! Holy craps keep these wonderfull textures I have a lots of wreck vehicles just waiting to burn and that I intend to produce the mod and with your textures of burnt scrap I feel the smell already ! And I will stick it on believe me ! Ach che zavais que tu etai eine grosse filouss ! gomme eine clever fuchs ! well I am not really interresting of your burning textures... you want my death or what it is the texture that I miss for my wrecks which have been waiting in the garage for months ! Really these last 20 minutes you surpasse and revoluitonzed the knowledges that need himself BFC and Cie ! Really interresting and very promising ! adieu hedgerow hell bonjour terrains tiles hell ! JM
  19. Everybodys is free to espress himself, most of the time I make joke somethimes... really heavy I know, and anoying for certain personne, but is my nature like this, a little like a stamp stiking of my... we can share all the knowledges because guys like you, that give theirs opinions as you, and allow us to go ahead with a project. dont worry I will for sur one day, knoking on your door ! For the time I take some knowledges of @benpark , guy, with lot of knowleges that I admire and respect, his job is always almost on the top, giving always lot of interresting infos, I took already some Idea from him that mine can see the light, the tiles, are a very good job that I missed to check before, almost all is there done, we have only to take it, and make our own, ...with approbation of the owner of course ! Politesse oblige !
  20. Just a joke guy you have to know me untill now !
  21. You read my mind... they are also working on tiles... who can be Herbert
  22. So but now we have a lot of ink, but who can do what ? @Falaise for Historic knowledges and certainly a place to come back in case of incertains aspect ! @benpark and @Lucky_Strike to finalised the tiles supported by @slippy! @Warts 'n' all and @Sgt.Squarehead and @Erwin to issue a few criticisms that are sometimes well-founded but also give some good advices! Hope to see perhaps @Aquila-SmartWargames to give us more infos about 3D and perhaps mds (not valid in this topic but really awaiting and appreciated )! @JM Stuff to learn a lot about all of them and keep a dirty version of the track for @Erwin ! Just a joke guys ! But who can help physically * to realised this starting mod ?? * read concreatly instead physically
  23. Yes me too I think Ben and Lucky, have to take the head of the tracks traces mods, they have enough knowledges to realized it I don t think to have enough knowleges as them I like also very much the way "not too clean and fade out towards the edge of the road". @Falaise explained about the real aspect of the road in Normandy he has also the advandtage to visit it and see some real older photography to compare,... and the "chery on the cake" this is his passion and almost proffession an allied for every situations !
  24. Outstanding was the right word to use yes !
